Great Show guys, good job! I found the impressions of Afrika fascinating. I always thought it would be more free-roam. Perhaps this was somewhat like a tutorial after all. I remember playing Endless Ocean that it took some time to unlock some of the features. It would be interesting to compare the two games anyway. I enjoyed Endless Ocean a lot, mainly because – as you guys mentioned the last time – it was incredibly relaxing. So Afrika is one game I need to see for myself!
I agree, Mortal Kombat was never really good. It’s the Sonic of fighting games. We remember it more fondly than it really was. And the poor game companies producing the sequels just can’t repeat the initial success because they can’t compete with our distorted perceptions of it.
Anyways, great show! I’m looking forward to the next one!
